Want to feel more confident and prepared when auditioning on Zoom? This three-week course focuses on the skills and techniques needed to make a strong impression in a virtual audition, from your framing and eyelines to your connection with the camera and your performance.

In Week 1, we’ll cover the basics of Zoom acting and work through a First Call script, focusing on framing, camera technique, eyelines, and creating an authentic performance on screen. In Week 2, we’ll put those skills into practice with a new First Call and new material. In Week 3, we’ll run a Zoom Callback just like a real audition, giving you the opportunity to put everything together and experience the process in a supportive environment.

All of the material is designed to reflect the realities of today’s virtual audition process. Whether you’re new to Zoom auditions or looking to sharpen your skills and feel more comfortable when the camera turns on, this class with Robby is an opportunity to get practical experience, build confidence, and be better prepared for your next audition.

Class size is limited and open to actors with and without representation. 

The final class is a Q&A with Ross and Alyson in person or attend virtually. (Q&A TBD)

This class is open to actors 18 years and older.

Please note: We do not offer makeup classes because we cap the class size so that all students have the maximum amount of time with the instructor.
